February Half Term Carnival Creations at The Centre, Feltham
This February half term, The Centre, Feltham is teaming up with Feltham Arts Association to provide the perfect place for children to let their imagination and creative flair run wild - and it is all for FREE.
On Monday 15th February from 10am-3pm in Community Room 1, The Centre, Feltham will host FREE Carnival Facemasks Workshops where the little ones can create fantastic carnival themed masks using a variety of fun materials and techniques.
Once they have created their masks they can join the FREE Carnival Samba Dancing Workshop on Friday 19th February between 10am-3pm also in Community Room 1. Dance is an essential part of the carnival spirit and the samba workshop will give children the opportunity to pick up some exciting routines that they can teach to they whole family (maximum 30 children at a time, first come first served).
Lorraine Prideaux, Centre Manager at The Centre, Feltham is looking forward to the carnival atmosphere: ‘I am delighted to have such a creative outlet for the local children and the carnival theme is set to create a fantastic atmosphere for shoppers. It’s great we can provide a free way to keep youngsters occupied during the half term I’m thrilled we can provide a range of workshops that combine arts, dance and music – its going to be a fun packed week.’
