Queen Frontman Commemorated in Feltham
24 November 2009
On 24th November, former Feltham resident and one of the world’s greatest musical icons, Freddie Mercury, was commemorated with a memorial plaque at The Centre, Feltham.
The memorial was installed by the London Borough of Hounslow in partnership with The Centre, and near 2,000 people turned up to watch Brian May and Freddie’s family unveil the plaque and see Queen tribute band ‘Mercury’ perform for the crowds.
Take a trip down to The Centre and view the Freddie Mercury memorial star, which is now a permanent fixture in the main piazza.
