Newspapers are also available in Urdu. Books are available in Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

Summer Reading Challenge – 2011 - Circus Stars.

The summer reading challenge is the biggest national; reading initiative for children aged 4-11 It runs in libraries throughout the summer holidays, with incentives, activities and events designed to create a real buzz around children’s reading. The challenge is simple-read six or more books over the summer and receives a medal and certificate. The summer reading challenge begins 23^rd July and continues to the 11^th September.

- Booklovers Reading Group 1st Thursday in the month
- Reading group last Thursday in the month 6.30pm -7.30pm
- Creative writing 3^rd Thursday of the month 6.30pm -7.30pm
