What is Zumba®? Zumba® is a spicy, hot, hip swivelling workout where African, Caribbean and Latin dance moves are combined with aerobics/fitness.  It is a ‘fun and easy to do’ workout where one does not need to be a dancer to Zumba®.  The dance routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.  Zumba® utilises the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximise caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. You can burn up to 1000 calories in a Zumba® class!

Times/Dates: Every day.

We are a friendly song and dance troupe set up to entertain the elderly and infirm in residential care. We perform two musical shows a year at Feltham assembly hall and also travel to various homes between Sept – April. If you would like to become a full member or maybe just join us for our musical fundraisers at Feltham we would be pleased to see you, as with all amateur groups MEN are especially welcome. No experience is necessary, as long as you can sing in tune, have a bit of rhythm and lots of enthusiasm then we're the group for you.

Times: Rehearsals are every Wednesday at Ashford Common Methodist Church 8-10pm with some extra rehearsals including Sundays near a big show.

Axis are a non profit making drama group, open to all children in the community aged 8 to 18, regardless of ability. We rehearse weekly on a Sunday and our rehearsals include acting, singing and dance warm-ups followed by production work. At AYP your child will get the chance to experience how a whole show is put together. This concludes with a fully staged production with a live band often at Hampton Hill Playhouse. AYP are a hard working, dedicated and enthusiastic company, all that we ask of each student, is that they work to the best of their ability, for that is when they will truly shine. Weekly fees apply (payable termly at start of term).
