Citizen of the Year Awarded to Doris Stone

Doris Stone - Citizen of the Year After a very tough decision from the judges, The Citizen of the Year Award was presented to Doris Stone. The local 86-year-old resident was recognised for her dedication to community development and continuous efforts to unite the local residents. Among other things, Doris is responsible for organising and overlooking the bingo evenings at the Bedfont Community Centre – a night that is highly rated among local retired residents. As well as winning the Citizen of the Year Award, Doris was also presented with the Volunteer of the year award.

James Fallon and Graham Littlefield The Young citizen of the Year Award was given to James Fallon for his kindness and generosity towards other members of the community and his contribution to Southville Community Centre.

Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Doris Stone for her outstanding efforts and loyal support within the local area.

The Good Neighbour of the Year was awarded to Graham Littlefield for his ceaseless efforts to help his neighbours; he often goes out of his way to ensure that the areas surrounding his neighbourhood are clean, safe and secure.

The Centre Feltham would like to thank everyone who entered the awards and say a special thanks to The Lord Mayor Andrew Morgan Watts, MP Alan Keen and The Feltham Chronicle for all their support.”
